By accessing and using the Scopus Author ID assistance service provided by PT. Scopus Service Solution (“IDScopus”), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions.
1. Scope of Services
The services provided by PT. Scopus Service Solution include:
Verification and identification of author data eligible for a Scopus Author ID
Assistance with submitting Scopus Author ID requests to Scopus/Elsevier
Consultation related to Scopus (e.g., affiliation correction or data updates)
2. Service Eligibility
This service applies to authors who already have publications in Scopus-indexed journals but do not yet have a Scopus Author ID, or to individuals without any publication history (national or international), including lecturers, students, staff, and researchers.
Authors without prior Scopus-indexed publications may still be eligible to receive a Scopus ID using a paper provided by IDScopus.
The company does not engage in any form of data manipulation to obtain an ID through unethical or unauthorized means.
3. Author Responsibilities
Authors are required to provide accurate personal data and supporting documents as requested.
Authors are responsible for the authenticity and accuracy of the submitted data.
Authors must follow the assistance process as directed by the support team.
4. Company Disclaimer
IDScopus guarantees the success of the Scopus Author ID assistance process. If the ID is not issued as agreed, a full refund will be provided.
The Scopus ID registration process is subject to the policies and discretion of Scopus (Elsevier).
IDScopus acts solely as an administrative and technical facilitator, not as a publisher or the official issuer of the ID.
5. Fees and Payment Terms
Service fees apply nationwide across Indonesia.
Payment must be made upfront before the process begins—either in full or with a 50% down payment, with the remaining balance payable once all author slots are filled.
If after 2 months the author quota is not yet full, the process will continue, and your data will be submitted to Elsevier.
No refunds will be issued if the author voluntarily withdraws from the service.
6. Data Privacy and Protection
All personal data, documents, and publication information provided will be kept confidential and used solely for service purposes.
IDScopus will not disclose your data without written consent, unless required by law or regulatory authorities.
7. Intellectual Property Rights
The company does not claim ownership over any paper or publication submitted.
All intellectual property rights remain solely with the respective author.
8. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes will first be resolved amicably through mutual discussion.
If no resolution is reached, legal action will be taken in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Indonesia.
9. Amendments to Terms
IDScopus reserves the right to revise these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice.
All changes will be published on the official website and take effect immediately upon posting.
10. Miscellaneous
The assistance process will begin once the full author quota is reached. Our admin team will provide regular updates on the status of author fulfillment.
This service solely supports authors in obtaining a Scopus Author ID. All matters regarding the article title, journal scope, article type, journal destination, country, journal name, and journal link are fully determined by the publisher. Authors may not make special requests regarding these elements.
The estimated timeframe for filling author slots is approximately 1–2 months. The publishing process and Scopus ID issuance is expected to take an additional 1–2 months. Thus, the total estimated duration of this assistance process under the MoU is a maximum of 4 months.
If you do not agree with these Terms and Conditions, please do not proceed with the registration or engagement in this service. Continuing the process will be considered as full acceptance of all terms stated herein.
